In 2018, after helping local companies with safety training and vehicle inspections, Jason and Emilee Berger saw the need for comprehensive compliance support and founded Berger DOT & Safety Compliance. Our mission is to improve your safety scores, simplify DOT regulations, and foster a strong safety culture within your team.

 Jason has held a Commercial Driver's License (CDL) since 1996, specializing in flatbed and equipment hauling early in his career. With extensive experience operating all types of commercial vehicles, he currently maintains an Arizona CDL with all endorsements.

In 2007, Jason graduated at the top of his class from Lake Region State College's Police Academy. He served as a Deputy for the Morton County Sheriff's Office and was a trained vehicle pursuit officer. His trucking industry experience led him to being cross-deputized with the North Dakota State Troopers, where he participated in numerous DOT blitzes and commercial vehicle inspections. He has received  multiple awards throughout his law enforcement career from Deputy of the Year to the North Dakota's Peace Officers Life Saving Award. 

In 2014, Jason returned to Arizona and leveraged his trucking and law enforcement background to transition into management roles in DOT and safety compliance. He has worked extensively throughout the western United States, assisting companies in enhancing their safety and compliance program. Jason is an authorized OSHA Outreach Trainer. He is known for his impactful trainings and his ability to foster a culture of safety in the workplace.

Emilee Berger previously served as a Corporate Account Representative for one of the nation’s leading safety and compliance companies, where she managed compliance needs for numerous clients across the country.

As your go-to expert for DOT compliance, Emilee oversees all tasks related to Driver Qualification Files, DOT Drug & Alcohol Testing, and compliance reviews for both new and existing clients. She is dedicated to ensuring that your company meets all regulatory requirements with ease.

Emilee also assists new companies in setting up their DOT authority, guiding them through the process to ensure a smooth experience during the DOT New Entrant Audit.
